Hi all, I am new to these forums and to Train Sim in general, and probably not as much of a train head as the rest of you all, so this post will be a bit lighter on details (because I don't know much), so maybe this route is far too simple to be included, but I thought I would go ahead and make my pitch anyway for why I think this route might be unique and interesting: The Missouri River Runner is probably the most famous passenger line in Missouri (of which we don't have many) and especially for the stretch of the line I listed above it largely hugs the Missouri River the entire way. It has stops in Jeff City, Hermann, and Washington, you could add a stop in Kirkwood if you wanted to go to the outskirts of St Louis too, but just Jeff City to Washington is already over 60 mi. Importantly, for the German rail sim fans, this route follows the entire heart of what is known as the "Missouri Rhineland." Where many people came from Germany and still hold a lot of fondness for Germany. For me, I am a Missourian, and and American, and I noticed looking at the map of routes the whole Midwest is pretty lacking in options. It seems like perhaps the team has a slightly easier time getting licenses to make routes for the US, UK, and DE. And those are probably their primary markets. I am also interested in passenger rail, which is something quite lacking in the center of the map as well. I think this route captures the most scenic part of the broader Missouri River Runner track. If anyone knows any more about this track than I do, feel free to throw in any details. It looks like there is a small rail yard in in Jeff City with an extremely good view of the capital building and of the Missouri River. If 3-4 stops is too few for a track though then oh well, I am unsure if there is any commercial/freight connected to that Jeff City track that could be expanded on or not to add additional options. I know this route is probably a pipe dream, but just figured might as well put the idea out there. Thank you for reading
