Arrived at Beeston Station Loaded/unloaded passengers Train won’t move - no power This has happened three times.
I had this when driving in rain. Apparently the wipers and horn use air from the brake compressor. I finally worked out that if you turn the compresser speed up switch on until the brake cylinder recharges to 7.6 the brakes will release and you can take power again. It only works when at a standstill with reverser in neutral.
