I completed Tier 2 of MML (2/2 completed) a few weeks ago but the mastery tile (PS4 Pro) would not appear (this seems to happen quite a bit since the launch of the Easter Egg Mastery, which added an extra unusable tile). Since last week's SoS update, it says Tier 2 completed (but the slider now shows 0/2). Despite playing two scenarios which involve snow (weather), the slider will not update. The mastery tile still does not unlock.
Sent in a Support Ticket (#59671) which is still "being processed" more than 2 days later. The Tier 2 sliders have now reversed! The scenario one is now showing 2/2, whereas the distance one is showing 30798/128000. I have completed a Derby-Leicester timetable service, but the distance has not updated. Hopefully, the Peak Valley Railway Mastery Tiers will unlock without any problems. Other Mastery issues are: 1) Trenton Mastery tile is blank - (minor: stadium show in Trenton unlocks correctly). 2) Island Line 2022 Mastery tile is missing - (major: when will Rivet / Dovetail fix this)?
As predicted, I now have a different issue with the Peak Valley Railway Mastery. Both sliders are full but it won't progress from Tier 1 to Tier 2! Also (as stated in OP), the distance won't update for MML Tier 2 (despite originally having been completed and somehow reset to a such smaller distance).
Hi I want to say I had the same problem with many of the mastery rewards as at the time I bought my DLCs based on what came with the mastery so I could make better liveries as that is what I like to do. But unfortunately I was disappointed at what I actually got after hours of work. Its still a sore subject and only recently after a year away and deleting 2 years of hard work off CC am I looking at doing these task again but did the same issue persists?,,,,an by the looks they still do. Which is a shame because I’m currently about to start IOW and Tees Valley as I did do these first time around from a different account. And I wanted to see if they had been fixed because I want to improve my work again before re issuing but what’s the point if after a year a simple fix and a complaint I made is still ignored. Just to be clear the issues Tees Valley I got okay but IOW I was doing the task yet the bar wasn’t moving at all except after I raised a ticket. It moved back wards,,,but I didn’t give up and finally I must have done a route that resolved the bar issues and I suddenly got the rewards. I think you have to do a certain one but again why just say complete 2 route task. Do two but get nothing so yes it can be very frustrating and sad to hear that DTG haven’t fixed this and feels like history repeating. So yes I’m sorry to hear that your having these same issues and as I write this I am asking myself why commit to years of work again buy other DLCs to do liveries for myself and the community when DTG again can’t respect it customer base and resolve a product issue thats not new. But again where have we heard this before about old issues TSW2 the list could go on but that would get me no where so is not seen as positive comments really. But how can you be positive if you have nothing to be positive about when you don’t have any bright future to look forward to if faults still remain and it’s customers and community is not being heard. Seriously is an insult to the consumer so again ask myself is it worth it. For after my long email to them and a large comment back last year before deleting my work off as why would I want my name or work be associated with a company that treats its customers in the way it does. It’s bad for business really,,,and I’m only using a fictional name but it’s not about that it’s the principle of it all. Yes I did see a email from them offering so many months free as a ambassador or something and I would have taken it to do more work but why when it was very timely to do liveries and some of that time was wasted trying for the mastery do what it says yet get nothing for all your hard work. So what was the point and it really does upset me because I dreamed of working for DTG doing liveries or projects as I had some ideas but that is just dream. Just like in the beginning it was good while it lasted but seeing these comments it does look like the dream is over and my TSLP work I should just but a hold on right now. But that means hundreds of pounds wasted because I can’t do what I love because the company that sold you them products don’t seem to care about no one in the community. Sorry to say but it’s true by the looks and it really does pain me. So I know it might not very helpful in away for you but as you can see this is not a new problem and it’s one I thought would have been fixed. But to try and be positive let me have a go on this IOW and if you want me to try test a route for you and let’s see what the problem can be if there is one. I offer my help if you need it mate. Because I want to know for use myself before truly hanging up my TSW3 career and if I can help out in anyway whilst I’m finding out for myself I might as well let you know my findings. Right well I I’ve just done two basic routes of 8 mins and a 5 mins done the 2 miles walk for the rewards from the IOW 2022 and to my surprise I got them no problems at all. Last time I got them I couldn’t change the colours or was on the Teesside DLC?,,,not sure but I don’t care lol,,,I am ecstatic. I am so surprised with this and I guess I owe DTG an apology for my recent comments and I will admit things if I get it wrong because it unfair to the other party which in this case is DTG so please DTG accept my apologies because for me that fault is no longer there so I must say thank you for fixing it. Thank you that’s all I wanted as a customer and fan of TSW and trains in general. So I hope you manage to get sorted as I don’t have the DLCs you have because I’m poor lol. And if you have raised a ticket hopefully they will sort you issues out as I know first hand how frustrating it can be. Down below I placed a picture as evidence that it’s fixed on PS4 all IOW 2022 reward work and I can’t thank DTG enough. Thanks DTG.
