Set up the free roam in timetable with the Jubilee 70 miles to Peterboro but lost the distance to run HUD so had to rely on Red signal to end but when got to Peterboro no way to end it and get points, so I edged forward to signal then lost all passing red. Will try again but without a 73 mile run first!!! .
Is there even an end to free roam. I thought once you did a journey you just moved onto the next thing, rather than being given a score. I haven't used free roam though so please correct me if I'm wrong.
Free roam isn’t scenario planner, it’s not a set/ timetabled service you’re running so there is no score to earn or way to end it unless you delete the train. I’m pretty sure they said this at some point.
Ah I see, the plus, you get all the A1 traffic in, the neg no points. I'm ok with that. Seems if you 'save' when you return you need to reset destination to get HUD back and distance to the revised End. I think.
You can also cancel and re-path at anytime. Do you even get points for free roam? I have the points HUD turned off.
