Mod Delete Account?

Can someone delete my account, Im done with everything here....

 

Blacknred81, I don't know what your circumstances are and I don't mean to intrude, but at least, please don't do anything rash that you can't take back? At least I've liked reading your posts here. On a personal note, I feel like I've had issues (both mental and physical) my whole life, despairing over things and life in general so many times. I was bullied in school for years that certainly left a mark on my psyche. I guess because of that and other things that have happened, I've become a rather anxious person, generally over-thinking, being pessimistic and having a bad temper, which have resulted in even more problems in my life.

I guess, I just want to say, "hang in there", as patronising and conceited as that no doubt sounds coming from a complete stranger?

 

As you're making it public, I don't think you're done. Best to do something else for a while and then come back with a fresh mind.

In any case, dropping a request to delete your account to DTG support will do. I did that once too (old "torfmeister" account) and took a three month break after realizing that the forums had become unhealthy for me and I took everything way too seriously - no one to blame but myself - it's only a game after all. Take it or leave it but don't let it become too important or emotional.

I've had my rounds of leaving things behind only to come back later.
You had many fantastic contributions and I believe everyone considers you an important member of the community.
Neither thing I saw this week that may hurt you, were aimed at you.
I don't know what else is going on in your life. I hope it gets sorted, everyone deserves it.
This game is our hobby and this is a place where we can discuss it. You included.

 

I understand, this forum has a bad vibe, too many whiners and too many people who try to be the first to answer each and evey post.

 

It depends. There are some who are overly quick to be critical or to get into an argument, but there are others who behave thoughtlessly and then get upset when they get a deserved rebuke.

I think we read too much into what people write. We are all strangers to each other, and not everybody is good at expressing themselves in writing, so misunderstandings will happen. This forum isn't the real world and we shouldn't get too worked up about what gets said here.
