Sometimes tsw don't feel good enough but for pc players it's easy to modify the game with patches and upgrades but sadly for console this is not possible the only thing I have found thats not modified is this on the bakerloo line it would make tsw way better for both consoles and pc
Modding isn’t really something in DTG’s control unfortunately. There are hundreds if not thousands of PC Games available for console which are unfortunately restricted by the lack of mod support on consoles.
But there could be a way to bypass that for example creators club there could be a mod section but I guess theres nothing we can do sadly
Its not even that it's like how am I ment to get 60+ on to pc without having to rebuy all of them that what annoys me
If you have them on Xbox you don’t need to. You can get the Xbox app on your PC and you should just be able to download it and play as normal, at least it lets me do that. Not sure about PlayStation
I think it may work? I’m not 100% sure but when you launch TSW on PC from the Xbox app as far as I’m aware it is the same version that Steam / Epic players have. As far as I’m aware, the only thing not compatible with the Xbox Store PC version of TSW is the editor. But I have never tried to install any mods myself
I'm just saying.if you can afford it and you aren't financially unstable like alot of us rn then go for it
What do you mean “Why”? If somebody bought TSW for their Xbox Console because they didn’t have a PC, or didn’t have a good enough PC to run TSW, and then later bought a PC which was capable of running TSW, it makes sense for that person to install the PC Version of Train Sim World which they already own on their Xbox / Microsoft account, especially if they have spent a lot on DLC. Transferring content across platforms isn’t possible, so the choice is either to launch it from the Microsoft / Xbox App, or fork out a lot of money to rebuy content you already own again on Steam or Epic
I don't see why this couldn't work. Several console games include native mod support, including SnowRunner, Farming Simulator, Fallout 4, and Cities Skylines to name a few. It would just be a matter of DTG finding a way to implement it into their game.
To say mods can't move to console is true and false as cities skylines 2 when ever that's realised on console will have a mods available only none scripting mods and Transporter fever 2 update coming this year will have mob support coming to console. So it is a possibility but for tsw I can't see it because of licensing
