Hi everyone, thought I'd share here a mod that me and ADSTRAINSUK have been working on. We've been working for weeks to get it to work the way we intended and we are so pleased with the result. As far as modding an existing train goes, I think this is about as far as we can take it. It wasn't easy, that's for sure! The train subs onto WCML and shares 50% of the AI services between Watford Jn and East Croydon with the 377/2s. Due to timetable-related limitations, we are unable to substitute the additional coach into timetable mode and so it runs as a 4-car service. However, the full 5-car formation is now available for use in Scenario Planner and Free Roam! Just a reminder to those that have the 377/7 WCML sub version installed: Please remove it when installing the WCMLS EP as it is not compatible with the new version, which is designed to work with the EP timetable. If you still wish to use the LBN sub, you can, but please re-download the new version published yesterday as I have updated it to remove conflicts with the EP version.
question, would it be possible for the brighton mainline timetable to use this on the east croydon to Milton Keynes (Clapham junction) route?
looking forward to it! thank you for considering to implement it. I also tried using trainsimcz's enhanced Brighton mainline timetable with thameslink in it and using the /7 in it. I found the /7 to be coupled with a another /4 on it's services. I wonder can this also be considered to work along side their enhanced time table. Though i think i am also fine with just the services playable with the /7.
I found something that was missing on the /7 On the PTS coach for the door closest to the toilet. There's suppose to be a red stripe on the far side of the door. And which its missing on the model. (And unsure does it count when the accessibility logo is also missing but i think its kinda minor?) And question, does the train just outright uses the base 387 sounds? As I have downloaded the eletrcostar sound mod by ItsYa165 and i can hear the differences between the 2 sounds on the trains.
I'm 99% sure that the 387 and 377/6/7s sound identical, so it would've made sense to use the 387s audio base for it. Got this covered for an upcoming update
Ooh i see. Bit sad that the sound mod for the eletrcostar couldnt be used on the /7 too. good to know! Would the 5 cars be spawnable via timetable mode on BML/ECW? I tried it last night and it was still a 4 car. I remembering there was some sort of limitation to that before listed on the train sim community page for the mod. Would that be the case or change in an upcoming update?
It should do? The sound mod should apply to it as it uses the same audio base. It's definitely worked when I've been using it.
