The modern route would be from Manchester airport to York via Huddersfield and Leeds. Have another one from Manchester Piccadilly to York via Castleford. The trains would class 185 and class 802

I would welcome a Class 185 and could we have the Cleethorpes extension as well?

A modern day NTP takes my vote.

I would take a modern TPE route as long as it includes a TPE-liveried 68 + Mk5a coaches (either included with the route or as a future add-on for the route)

I can’t see them reworking the exact same route just to set it in a different era. You would be better asking for one of the other cross Pennine routes - Calder Valley or Hope Valley - in the modern epoch.
