I've resurrected the IHH Duke of Gloucester and noticed some errors in the position of what I assume are child objects.

The leading bogie is set a little too low, so the wheels sink into the rails and the double columns of smoke don't properly align with the double blast pipe. I would like to fix them.

The position of these things must be set numerically, so is there a way of editing files to change them please?

Usually the position of child objects like the exhaust, engine sound source, driver, cab light, headlights can be edited in the engine.bin. They are stored in the 4x4 matrices near the end of the file. The last entries in each matrix are the x,y and z positions.

I don't have this loco but should be the usual path.

    Railworks\Assets\Developer\AddOn\Steam\LocoName\Default\Engine\LocoName.bin

like this, with x being left (-)/right(+) from centre of the engine, y up down from trackbed, and z forwards(+) backwards(-) from engine centre
