I'm sure other people have also requested this, however I've not seen any myself yet... So I'll go ahead; as I was reading about this expert loco coming soon, I was thinking to myself how cool it would be to get some other locos! - As much as the 66 is insanely overused, I'd actually like to see an expert Class 66, with the engine room being accessible and the cab ends correctly modelled (engine room access on both ends), and maybe some more variants.. like different headlight clusters, horns and so on. - Another loco I'd love to see become an expert loco would be a Class 37, they're amazing locos to look at, let alone be on board of! They've got a monster for an engine, so even with the engine shut off, being in the same room as it would be amazing - again, whether it's in a game or not! And who doesn't love a 37? Another thing is that I personally think as though the 37(s) in game could do with some upgrades to sounds, clag effects, general model quality and I personally would like to see more variants of them.. if the latter would be possible. So expert versions of the mentioned locos would be a good opportunity to do some of those upgrades I reckon...? I do however understand that it can't be that easy to make an expert loco, with all the extra features needed and new models required and so on, so I'm not really expecting more to come anytime soon, but I would LOVE to be proven wrong for on that one! - Some new variants for both mentioned locos could be ones like these, along with new operators and new liveries for both locos potentially/hopefully; (different headlight clusters//ploughs) (LED lights//different horns) (LED lights//different horns again) (LED lights again - I personally really like these specific lights for the 66s)
I think I wanna wait a see what the 101 expert is when it arrives before deciding on whether I think their should be more like that, just a lot of unknowns I think for myself until then. similar to rush hour kinda deal, I didn’t like the sound of that at first but it turned out to be something completely different, information before release was that it’s a new thing about keeping to tight time limits and busy traffic, made me think some sort of crazy Asian transport system where your due at the next station every 30 seconds in a timed mode, a stressful nightmare what it actually was, is not that
Yes please! I love the 37 Big Logo on West Highland TSC. It would be nice to introduce something like a working Radio Electronic Token Block (RETB), access to the nose and engine compartments etc... Great idea!
Exactly what I was thinking, for the new 37 features at least - I'd love to see a 37 in the game, like 37508.. thanks to having seen her not long ago. But she does look beautiful, the Railfreight livery really fits 37s!
The DRS livery is also gorgeous! Maybe an Expert DRS package, 66 (Rivet's one)+37. (We're also waiting for the one in the back...)
That's another suggestion I was going to make - company packs. These would be packs revolved around specific companies, like Colas or DRS or GBRf etc. Each pack would add either two or three new locos (including some returning locos, like 66s/37s but with new modifications of course) in the company's livery. As an example, for Colas it could maybe add a 56, 70 and a 37 or something - each in the Colas livery of course. For DRS it could add the 68, 37, and maybe the 66 - again, all in the DRS livery with their own respective modifications... I feel like that would make a great pack and would be a nice way to introduce more companies to the game....
