Now that we have even more third party developers involved in Train Sim World, I think it would be nice if we were to get more frequent releases of applicable locomotive dlcs for existing UK routes. At present they are fairly few and far between. There are many types that are currently missing from the existing routes that, if included, would vastly increase playability. I am strictly referring to types in operation during each reflected period. Let's start with Northern Transpennine. Set in 1984, we could have.... Class 25 Class 123 Intercity DMU 3 and 4 car Class 124 Transpennine DMU 4 car Class 128 Parcels DMU no gangway variant Class 141 Pacer in early WYPTE Cream and Teal livery I will write up some more suggestions by route shortly.
Next up is TVL. Set in 1989, we could have.... Class 47 in freight configuration Class 56 Class 142 layered from BPO
For GWE Set in 2015, we could have.... Class 57 plus Night Riviera stock Class 165/1 (genuine rebuild) Class 180 Class 332 Class 360/2 And DLoGW Ser in 1971, we could have.... Class 22 Class 35 Class 42 and 43 Class 117 and 121 Class 123 (2 variants of 4 car sets) Class 128 (ganwayed variant) Class 251/261 Blue Pullman sets
Next is BML Set in 2020 +/-, we could have.... Class 377/1, /3, /6 and/7 variants Class 455/8 Class 700/1
The different 377 variants are a must. Especially since on BML they are not represented accurately being just the 377/4
Peak Forest would benefit from a 'BR Green Diesels' Pack which include: Class 20, 31,37, 40 & 45 with new models and sounds in their as built condition. I would love to see The Midland Pullman come to Peak Forest
For Spirit of Steam. Set in around 1958, we could have.... A mixture of early BR Green diesel locomotives such as Class 40 to supplement the steam locos.
For Edn-Gla. Set in recent years, we could have.... Legends style throwback stock such as Class 126 Intercity dmus, top and tail Class 27 sets and push pull Class 47s with Mk3s and Mk2 DBSO.
For WSR. Set around 6-10 years ago +/-, we could have.... Class 14 Class 35 Class 42 Perhaps a first generation dmu such as Class 115 or 117.
Still hoping for a Class 55 Deltic, Class 50 "Hoover", Class 70, Class 67, Class 69, Class 60, Class 56, and Class 58.
