I may just be biased because i live in switzerland but why cant we go beyond the typical German, UK, US routes and give Switzerland more presence in the game, we have one of the densest train network and would offer a great ammount of content and variety with either normal gauge or narrow gauge like the rhaetian railway. I get that developing a swiss route would mean stepping out of the comfort zone and dive into new regulations/safety systems to implement but i mean- its called train sim WORLD not train sim DE, UK, US So my suggestion is just more swiss content in general. I already saw a few good swiss route addon suggestions in this forum and on rivet game's.
Rivet would be responsible for making any sort of swiss content since they have the references and expertise and have good partnerships with swiss operating companies. Dtg are already busy with making dlc for the big 3 with very few deviations outside of that. Other countries will have to be made by 3rd parties. Dtg can't do everything on their own.
More Swiss content would be nice, I agree. Would be nice if there'd be more countries in TSW. It's getting a tad boring with the same old 3 countries over and over and over again.
On rivets sight i have been requesting and suggesting more swiss content for along while and so far the reaction from rivets has been they like the ideas but don't seem in any kind of rush to do anything swiss related anytime soon.
Definitely behind more from Switzerland. They could start by filling out the RhB a bit more with the Bernina and Albula lines. I would like to see a classic Gotthard and Lotschberg route, classic as in before all the base tunnel nonsense and the old locos and coaches that could be seen in the 1980’s. A rack railway would be good fun too, maybe part of the FO or BOB.
Totally I would love to see more swiss routes. Especially a Bern-Zurich route with a separate track via Burgdorf
