Ho, I’m trying to get rid of motion blur in TSC as per the following way found here: ————— Navigate to: Documents\My Games\TS2Prototype\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor. Open Engine.ini in your favourite text editor. Add these two lines to the bottom: [/script/engine.renderersettings] r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=False. Save the file ———— Unfortunately I can’t find out that file or any of those folders neither with the Search option. Tnx for any help.
That's Train Sim World, not Train Sim Classic. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/forums/trainsimworld/ Also, TS2Prototype sounds like the first version, which is now obsolete (but playable), most have moved on.
Not at PC so can't confirm for sure but pretty sure TSW3 still uses the same TS2Prototype file name.. I wouldn't be surprised if TSW4 does too but I haven't bought it so don't know.
There's not even a need to modify the engine.ini, there's a menu option to turn off Motion Blur - or press Ctrl+F2 ingame. TS2Prototype cannot be renamed, as all UE .pak files must use the same mounting point (which is the UE TS2Prototype project folder), else old DLC would not work. This folder name is baked into all of the assets, so you can't easily replace it. With all its flaws, you can still consider TSW4 being the "Train Simulator 2" prototype anyway.
Silly me. Does TSC have Motion Blur? I was pretty confident it doesn't. Meh. Thanks rwaday then for helping OP
