Motion Blur Won't Stay Off

Every time I start the game I have to turn off motion blur. It will stay that way until I close the game and start it up again.
Is there a solution to this?

 

Unfortunately, you've found the only solution.
Annoying, I know.
No way to turn it off and have that setting saved for next time your launch the game

It's not just motion blur - I'm constantly having to switch off the stop marker (red/yellow/green shading) as well, for each route and for each loco within that route. Changes to the settings should be overarching for all DLC, but for some options that doesn't appear to be the case.

 

It's infuriating that settings not only don't persist between play sessions, but also don't even persist between loading different routes
