Epic Games Mouse Scroll Not Functioning In Game Only

I've recently downloaded the the TSW5 update on both Steam and Epic, since I have DLCs in both... (yeah I know !) While Steam seems to be working fine (including mouse scroll), I've noticed in the Epic version, that my mouse scroll doesn't work in game. Outside the game the mouse is scrolling fine, but in game it refuses to work. This is obviously a "right pain", because I can't zoom my view to get a better look at signals down the track in front, or look at the in-cab display panel text. I didn't have any issues with the mouse scroll/zoom function in TSW3 from Epic.
Has any other Epic user had trouble with this? Is there an alternative way to zoom the view or scroll?

 

The Godmode mod will give a better zoom and other options, but I'm pretty sure the in-game vanilla setting for scroll weould need to be working. Have you tried to validate the files, that is if you can in Epic, I have not touched epic in a long time, so I'm unsure.

Thank you. I forgot that it was possible to validate the installation. This has worked & seems to have cured the issue.
