As the title suggests, I would like to be able to relocate the bottom RH corner HUD to a location of my choice, preferably centre bottom of the screen. The current location is constantly forcing your eyes to squint across to the right which can't be good for your vision, not to mention you're not getting the full experience looking at the scenery. Make it a box like the old F4 track monitor in MSTS, which can be moved around at will. I know the ultimate solution is to switch the HUD off altogether but that's not always possible or practical, some of the cabs have very small dials and gauges and in the dark with the poor night lighting and inadequate headlights can be rather hard to pick up oncoming speed limits etc. And the top RH might also benefit from being further across in the centre top of the viewing area.
I'd rather move these HUD elements in a corner as far away as possible, so I can enjoy the scenery and read in-cab gauges without the HUD interfering, but still have the opportunity to read the HUD whenever I need information. So, albeit for different reasons, I do support the request for a movable HUD. Or actually, I'd like to expand on that and request a more customization options for different HUD elements in general, including scaling it (more so than the current options), and perhaps changing the opacity.
How does one request this officially? I use three monitors and the HUD ends up on the bottom right of the right monitor, and I want it in the center monitor. So a request for a moveable HUD is a +1 here.
Thanks. I have been using the in-cab instruments when I can, but I would prefer the HUD to be below my LOS rather than a glance right. I can live with it obviously but I hope it is considered by the devs. Maybe it can be tied to the screen resolution setting to place it X number of pixels to the right of center at least.
