The difference between the two SEHS showcase streams was very noticeable. Tonight’s was far more positive and I was amazed to see all the feedback taken in and acted on. Grey ballast, fences, layers with freight and railtours, the ability to play around in Hoo yard with stationary wagons and even AI from the lower Ebsfleet platforms. I was impressed by the departure boards which tracked your punctuality too. And as a treat tomorrow we get the scenario planner working on GWE and NTP with a proper range of paths and livery editor for East Coastway stock- all free! The German DLC’s are fantastic and it’s great to see the UK getting the same love.
I agree with you. they have done an outstanding job by listening to the audience and fixing the mistakes well done dtg you've got my £24.99
I have to admit, this second stream was impressive. More services added, railtours, the use of the javelin and the 375 and the sounds have been improved. The pis looks great and does seem to track whether on time or late. The downside as shown is the tunnel lighting and the cab being lit up incorrectly after entering a tunnel (which will be fixed later in a patch). As for the update tomorrow, I'm hoping it will finally fix the red light at Leeds when starting a scenario there. I also hope it will improve platform selection at stations (Huddersfield for example). The livery editor, is it just for ECW or will all preserved collection content finally be accessible?
It’s just ECW tomorrow but they’ve said they want to do as much of the preserved content as possible eventually.
The AI on the lower Ebbsfleet platforms was always there. People wanted those to be playable but instead they have added extra ones in. Just got to hope all these extra services put in don’t affect anything adversely, like dispatcher issues or performance on console. A couple of new bugs that weren’t there first time, including important wiper sounds and instrument lights not working, so hopefully they will be fixed in an early patch.
