At first I thought I am going crazy, like I might have pressed a wrong key or something, but then I repeatedly ran a service with MP36PH from San Francisco to San Jose, limited stops, 06:04 First time it happened at some point after Millbrae, on another run it happened much later on... usually, with alerter/TMS, the TMS lights start flashing alternately, then they all flash, then you hear the audible warning (beeps) and if you dont react, the beeps get into long continuous screech, and THEN if you dont react, brakes trigger and you have to wait till you stop, then wait a bit more, and release traction lock by pressing Q (acknowledge button) But at times I just go about my business when suddenly brakes trigger and the stuff if you dont react to alerter happens... the fact that it is indeed an alerter issue I found out by looking above at the TMS lights, which were flashing - but no beeps, no screeches, nothing, and release happened only after stopping and pressing Q Most of the time the alerter works, and I get the audible beeps to which I react accordingly... I rely on audible warnings as the TMS lights are way above on the overhead panel to the left... if I dont get beeps, I dont know I have to react... never have I had penalty brake applications on this route and loco before, so this must have been introduced/re-introduced during some recent update
