As of recently, the Dispolok Taurus got a sound update, making the inverter sounds quite nice, way more accurate than before. A very positive, welcome change. The sounds could be still furthermore tweaked improved IMO, but clearly a step into the right direction. However, I do not understand why the same sounds were not applied to the RT DB BR 182 loco. It should have the same sound tones on the inverter. Was there any technical reason for this? I find it unfortunate, as it makes the loco un-drivable for me. I'd very much enjoy running RE trains with the DB BR 182, but with improved sounds. EDIT: changed the name from MRCE Taurus to Dispolok Taurus.
The red 182 is a really old locomotive made all the way back in tsw2020 so something like new sounds might not work or require a lot of work. It's very different to how it's done now. It's why the 1442 couldn't get new sounds when koln aachen released. They tried to port it but it just didn't work due to how old the dlc was and would have required a rebuild.
Sorry, you're right. In fact I'm not sure how did I managed to confuse that... I did mean the Dispolok 182 DLC. I will correct my original post.
Yeah i was a little confused by youre post about the MRCE version i was thinking you talked about the update from today
Anything but the latest version is more or less abandonware. The same applies to the RSN 155 and the numerous versions of the 185 and 143. It's frustrating if anything when you pick Dosto services on RSN and end up with a bareboned RSN 143 on the way back, or even worse, an E10, which isn't even compatible yet spawns anyway ♀️
