    Hi,

I wanted to run the "Big tank train" - not remember the exact name, but it is the only one which you have a very long tank train with 3 locomotives! On Main Spessart Bahn route.
The scenario indicate something like "connect the rear locomotive", but I do not know how to do it on the cab of the first DB BR 185 Locomotive!

Any help about it will be appreciated!

As far as I remember, the banking loco waits on a sideline until the train arrives. It then drives (as AI) to the back of the train. You have to walk back to the end of the train and couple to it. Then run back to the lead loco and drive the service.

Thanks Pipe. But... I already did that part. Then the scenario indicates something like "connect the last locomotive as remote"
I mean it is not to couple. It is an electronic connection, in order last locomotive replies the first locomotive throttle.
It is the same as you must do with UPSD70ACE on Sherman Hill.
There it is clear which is the switch located for it.
But in this case only mentions that, with no indication where it is.
May be it is not a switch, it is something on one of the locomotive screens.

    Ricky.
What is made automatically is the couple with the locomotive at the rear.
But I am asking for an "electronic" connection made from the leading locomotive.
That is mentioned by the Scenario. But unfortunately there is no "drawing" indication in the cab, where is that switch.

What CowBoyWolf says: Switch the Banking Comm on. That´s also in the scenario instruction before you start to the summit.

Actually that scenario can be real fun: When you reach the summit in Heigenbrücken, uncouple that banking loco as requested. But instead of driving the petrol train further to Lohr, just take the banking loco and drive it back to Laufach, stable her there at the sideline and wait for the next banking job...

Thank you guys for your help, but...
I tried again on the weekend, but could not found the corresponding switch!
I have used also the all cab view feature, -which shows all of the panels and views of each locomotive - but do not see that

    Comment:
"Hit the red button called banking comn if that's what you mean".
The only red button I noticed is the emergency one.

Here you have the picture of that specific locomotive.
Could you tell me exactly where it is?

    TSW2 - BR185 - CAB.JPG

The other red button on the right side it is not functional.
Or it is on the back panel?
I use the pointer on every command, and nothing is mentioned with that name.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Ohhh... it is one of the small buttons on the left screen, which is not normally used.
    Thank you Pipe!

Yesterday I finally could drive the train!
Thanks again for notice me that small red button I had no noticed.
But after that, when progressing with the Scenario, and I arrived to the part where you have to uncouple the last 5 tanks....
Immediately after I uncouple them... surprisingly for the first time ever on MSB the error blue screen appeared, and the scenario ended! ... Damn!

If it comforts you, happened to me as well.
I didn´t bother to retry because according to the scenario sheet sequence, the only thing you do then is going back to the lead loco to finish by handing over it to another driver.
But of course, that blue screen gives me always a bad taste in my mouth and you´ll never see that scenario achieved.

Thank you for your comment about it Pipe!
But that does not comforts me!.
First, due you can not do it either. And second your comment implies it will not be possible to finish it!
Do you try to solve it, like some other cases of crashes?
I mean, to save the game just before, and then reload it, and see if you can continue.

    Hi Daniel,

I might try out again and find some workarounds when I´m less upset about this whole blue screen of death issue.
Maybe it was because I uncoupled using camera ( too lazy to walk), maybe it was the other way around. The savegame feature might work, but we all know that the savegame feature can give you just another headache.
From a certain point on, it starts to become ridiculous. Like lowering your view and not looking outside the windshield in Dresden-Mitte to prevent the sim from crashing.
I mean ......c´mon, REALLY? (Funny enough, it works .......... sometimes)

Please notice I made the all the walk to uncouple, then that is not the cause of the blue screen.
Yes the savegame is an "issue".
But on timetable mode it works better, than on Scenario one, as in this case only the AI trains who started moving at the time of crass, kept on the same position. The rest kept it stopped longer time, due to the time of the Scenario is reset to the starting one, unfortunately!
