Ok its come to my attention that Multiple UK units have Static Gangways. With todays update to the 158 I hoped they had fixed it. But I was wrong. Skyhook or DTG has fixed an issue with the gangway doors, but can't be arsed to do the animation for the gangways. Its stupid. They were working on the gangway Originally so why just sort the door? It looks like its going to be a forever bug like the 395, 465, 801 and now 158. I'm More irritated about the 395 and 465 since DTG has had like 2 - 3 years to fix it and yet not an attempt was made to my knowledge anyway. Thats 4 trains, 2 of which being recent releases. Whilst I understand work hours ect ect and priorities, I would've atleast expected the 801 to be somewhat at a decent standard before release. I wouldn't be so annoyed over it if: 1. The wires actually stayed connected to the cars 2. The couplers at each end actually bent when coupled 3. If there was an attempt to get it to work like the 166 The SEHS stock is a different story as I stated. 2 - 3 years of them being released and still no fix. This might seem like a stupid post, but its a tad annoying we aren't really getting our moneys worth like when TSW2020 released. Let me know your feelings on this, hopefully DTG or any of their partners may take notice and give some insight on this.
I also find it annoying. Could it be for performance reasons? Or maybe they just forget to make them animated? Either way it ruins the immersion, even more so when you realise the WMR 323 has animated gangways but the NT version doesn’t, why the inconsistency there? This is also a problem for the 801 too, they even acknowledged this and sent a fix out for it but it didn’t work and hasn’t been looked at since unfortunately
The main thing that annoys me is the 95, 465 and the 801. Had chances to fix them and just haven't. The NT one is a joke. The exterior gangways don't move but the interior ones do.
