Hauptstrecke Munchen - Augsburg Route Was a fun route to experience, as you may have known at the time, it still has very older standards. Isn't it a bad idea to give this the same treatment as Southeastern Highspeed, but instead of Ashford Intl, an extra S Bahn meter's to Ostbahnhof under the city of Munich, an important part for the S Bahn and also for those who Munich love. Or a little bit more ambitious to Munich Airport by a S8 Line Below are all stations up to Munich Airport including Ostbahnhof (Munich East t) which is approximately in the middle München Hbf Karlsplatz Marienplatz Isartor Rosenheimer Platz Munich East Leuchtenbergring Daglfing Englschalking Johanneskirchen Unterföhring Ismaning Hallbergmoos Flughafen Besucherpark Munich Airport New trains BR 440 ICE 4 ICE 2 BR 420 has been in the making for as long as this route has existed Route itself More accessibility in Munich HBF as a player simple example from the main station to the underground section where the s Bahn runs a major update of the scenery tracks, overhead lines, signals, others stations, grass, trees, fields, buildings A skyline of Munich itself when you drive into HBF where you can see the most recognizable buildings in the background Announcements and Information displays Something that the S Bahn Munich also differs from the regional train are signs when a train is arriving exactly just like all the other s Bahn lines and which one runs exactly on which line. Announcements if possible München HBF Train Sim World: Mammendorf station Mammendorf station Augsburg HBF Let know what you think about this idea
An extension for the S-Bahn is a good idea, but I prefer the S3 to Holzkirchen. The reason is that this line starts in Mammendorf, on the line from Augsburg to München. It can be done together with the release of the BR 420 from TSG.
for the long time the route upgrade has been announced for the 420 I hope to see a small extension. The timetable needs a drastic rework. as shown in the picture, we now have the 111 and Desiro classic. hope some Erixx license or something with Stadler can be arranged. not having a FLIRT or KISS on most routes does seem to lack the full railscene experience. Rivet made the FLIRT but after that nothing from stadler again. A lot of routes really miss that RRX or Metronom color palette to change up all the red we see now. Wherever the S bahn goes to be extended since with the new S bahn I expect that to be the most logical extension if there is one. I'd really like them to end at Hbf instead of Hackerbrücke, but preferably continue further.
Completely agree, the biggest setback was the sudden cut off of Munich Ost especially for s Bahn services. Hopefully one day there will also be more flirt's from Stadler for Deutschland, as new private operator as (Meridian,) or one on Deutchen Bahn livery if it exists
I would love to see an update on München-Augsburg, since we got a lot new trains and an addition of the ICE 2 & 4 would be great!
absolutely! train sim world has grown so much in recent years. How more support we have for Munich - Augsburg, the more chance there is it will be the next remaster some examples from TSW 3 until now - Southeastern Highspeed: London St Pancras – Ashford Intl & Faversham Route - West Somerset Railway Route - LIRR Commuter: New York - Long Beach, Hempstead & Hicksville Route reasonably new route,s which also have been done, came out after "Rush Hour" as the changes are not that big, unless it would have been a route in the ALPS such as the Arosa Line. - Sherman Hill: Cheyenne - Laramie Route - Northeast Corridor: Boston - Providence Route - Nahverkehr Dresden - Riesa Route
I immediately like all suggestions for routes in this forum, which either pass or end at an airport. If done right (and absolutely not like Rivet did in Fife Circle) we could see a detailed airport scenery and maybe some arriving and departin airplanes. And especially here it would be cool since the line is literally running into the airport scenery, and we had so much potential here for it with the station "Besucherpark" (visitors park) short before the airport to do some train and plane spotting.
Yes, I think it's time to bring a remaster/expansion of an old German route! However I couldn't decide whether this, RSN or others. However, it would be a great addition!
Indeed and we now also have the update in TSW 4 where passengers walk around with suitcases, an Airport in a German S Bahn route is to great to be not true
Just choose the best' even if it goes against this suggestion I'm curious about you meaning of RSN is it Ruhr-Sieg Nord ? about all existing lines I understand you completely there are to many other wonderful routes which deserve for sure a new make over
This guide is the best for finding and knowing the acronyms. It still misses some acronyms of recent routes, but already is very helpful. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/guide-on-route-acronyms.56183/
Ilba8765 Certainly there are also other routes like this one, such as Ruhr-Sieg Nord (RSN) and others, that need a restyling and/or an expansion. I would really like to see routes like this reach a new destination, perhaps with the introduction of a new unit. I just wanted to say that there is plenty of choice and I like your proposal!
One more thought something cool for this route specifically is an interior of the Hackerbrücke signal box to provide a spectacular view for te player from a height over the Munich's railway traffic what drive through, and drive's in and out
Another additional advantage on this suggestion is also a new S - Bahn unit BR 420 from TSG. It has never came out when it was announced and was many times on or off the roadmap. Now there are more different trains on TSW5 than in 2020 and it's would be very exciting if we had this route in it full potensial. I really hope that some German routes get the same treatment as the UK ones.
慕尼黑总站的确需要扩充车辆,慕尼黑 -奥格斯堡的车辆太少了! The Munich terminal does need to expand vehicles. There are too few vehicles in Munich-Augsburg!

The fact that the train station beneath München HBF was left out to this day drives me crazy. Would've been cool but nope...
I am totally agree with it. The biggest disappointment at the time was the missing S Bahn line to München Ost. Wich led under the city of Munich. It looked like a half-finished product. Especially when you like the German S-Bahn.
