I was watching a youtube video recently and they mentioned this route. It was within TSW range in terms of distance, so I thought I'd suggest it here. Route: This route runs for 32 miles between the cities of Nashville and Lebanon in Tennessee. The route stops at 7 stations along the way. It doesn't see much ridership with only around 900 passengers each day, though this might be skewed due to the pandemic. The route features interesting scenery with long grass and green areas around the tracks. Rolling Stock: The Tennessee Department of Transportation owns 4 F40-2PH's which run on this route, about once or twice each hour during peak hours. These locos pull 2 or 3 double-decker cars, similar to what you'd see on the Peninsula Corridor route. I'm fairly certain CSX also runs trains on this route, so that would definitely need a layer added, considering the lack of a large timetable without it. Why this route? Seeming like it reuses old stock and isn't terribly long, you might not like it. But in my opinion, DTG needs to focus on detail work and quality testing, so a smaller route requiring less work than usual might help them make a polished product in the same timeframe as an unstable but longer route. Also, this route offers a unique concept, being a less-popular commuter route than what we've seen in the past. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_City_Star
Excellent route and this is set in the South Central Part of the United States Tennessee. DTG will take the easy option for F40PH is reskin the Caltrain version into Music City Star.
