First I want to write, that it was a big mistake to write a thread called "a disaster" to DTG forums. I was just a bit annoyed of the truth. But the content of the message what I wrote into the thread, was just ridiculous. The real disaster is COVID-19, but there will be nothing more about it. But anyway, I never want to insult DTG from anything, and I hope, that I don't get punished. But I still want to write about this. Spending money to TSW in belief, that the editor is coming, and then hearing some bad news about it, would be a shock for them, that were dreaming about making their own content into super realistic train simulator. If we would have customer-made freeware routes and locos, it can make this game cheaper, because all professional-made content, is payware, and a bit expensive as well. This would be more disappointing for people (like me) that lives in areas, which are not very known. Because we can't make routes from our home countries ourselves, it would take long time to see them in TSW2. TS20xx has still editor, but TS20xx is getting old, and customers want to get an upgrade. Getting better performance and graphics would not be fun, if customers are losing something major features, which would be important for them. So, these are my last words about this major loss. DTG, you have made excellent content for TS20xx and TSW2, and I really hope, that you will continue the same way.

DTG have been making progress in 2nd and 3rd party access to the editor, including looking for developer assistants for 3rd parties
SO maybe there will be an easier path for people to develop their own stuff forthcoming, but from what I've seen TSW is a complex beast to dev for so even with an editor "a full route" may be a complex task

Either way, until it appears on the roadmap I won't hold my breath
