So, Spirit of Steam. PS5 version. What a wait it has been and for me, It's been worth it. I'm not a huge steam fan, To this day I don't know the difference between an A3 or a Castle and I am 100% a Diesel man. However that being said, I am loving the challenge of driving these magnificent machines, trying to get more speed as I slog up a gradient. Whistling through stations, It's beautiful. The entire team have worked so hard and it shows. The trains clanking and steaming away with different sounds at every angle. The world of 1958 Merseyside is so alive with buildings and cars and docks and Runcorn to Ditton and Liverpool is an absolute triumph and arguably the very best DTG have done. Yes there are issues but they are being worked on and I can't wait to see the future of this route with future patches and DLC's. This has been worth every penny.
