The N-Wagens available in DB Regio red since Bremen-Oldenburg was released are all second class passenger vehicles. To the exception of the coaches featured in the Mittlewaldbahn 2025 add-on (which included second AND first class "silberlinge" coach variants), all other N-Wagen vehicles offer exclusively second class accommodations, which is a shame. The N-wagens (mint green and DB red) are the only passenger vehicles in the German TSW roster who fail to include first class coaches as part of their consists. Except for the Desiro DMU, all other passanger rolling stock (Dostos, IC coaches, older IC coaches, ICE coaches on all ICE generations, S-Bahn EMU rolling stock, older DMU rolling stock, and the Mittlewaldbahn Silberlingen) feature both second and first class accommodations. Adding first class N-Wagen variant coaches would make for more authentic formations.
