By pure accident I managed to discover that on the Rush Hour route Nahverkehr Dresden service RE50 Leipzig Hbf - Dresden Hbf driving the DB BR 146 that I had forgotten to engage the reverser from neutral to forwards, yet I was still driving as usual. Steps taken when starting the train in order: Inserted reverser handle, set to neutral. Set door selector to left side, opened doors. Set train line power to start for a few seconds, then turned on train lights. Set signal light to headlights. Enabled LZB, PZB, SIFA fuses, in that order. Enabled AFB control. Set headlights to reduced, set interior lights to cab light. Set doors to closed, set AFB lever to 40 km/h. Set power handle to 50%, then increased to 100%. I don't know if this has been reported yet or not, but figured I'd share it as it seems pretty strange that the loco was able to drive while in neutral. If any more information is needed, I'll give what I can. It may also be noted that this service was started automatically from when I selected the route in the menu as it was the next in my Journey.
