    Hello there!

As most of you know I'm big on screenshotting. I have a large collection and one of my troubles is annotation.
Over the years I've developed a naming convention, tagging essentially. Example:
    • Folder: 2007-10-12 - East Coast Mainline, Newcastle - York
    • File: 20210217082230 - CS - Grey All Around - Class 47 BR Blue Logo, Coach Mk2 BR Blue-Grey - Rainy Autumn Evening
Detail on the subject is a bit random. I like tidiness but enough is enough ;)
I'm trying to keep a nice set of memories about each item I played, but also self restrict: having the information on how many pictures I have of each model, skin, route, I can weed out some bad ones - or decide not to.

I have a bit of trouble annotating old, specific, custom named steamers.
Made me curious, how do you name, group, manage your files?

When you search for old screenies what is most important to you: File date, simulated date, route, stock, theme, artistic merit? That will determine what metadata to use.

I just keep my screenshots in a folder which has sub-folders for each route
It could do with sorting as the information in the file is the route, location and date.
Take pictures of different runs on a section and they get mixed together
