I may have missed something, but could someone enlighten me as to what this occasion is, exactly and what the subject matter of the Saturday stream will be. Thanks.

I can do that for you.

National Train Day was a holiday started by Amtrak in 2008 as a way to spread information about the advantages of traveling by Train in the United States. Most of the activities/celebrations of this holiday are held in Amtrak's major stations as well as in museums. There are Amtrak Acela sets and Keystone trains displayed in parts of the Northeast United States and you will have superliner cars in Florida, San Antonio Texas and Los Angeles along with private train cars. Some rail compaines and freight companies in major U.S cities have certain displays of their trains and ways of celebrating National Train Day in the U.S as well but it's mainly celebrated by Amtrak.

Now if there will be a TSW2 stream about this day, there is no Amtrak route in tsw2 yet, we have the MTA Long Island Railroad which is buggy as hell, Peninsula Corridor and two freight only routes so I guess the content will be American focused since it is a American holiday about trains in the United States

No problem and don't be ashamed. It's not a well known holiday here in the U.S anyways. I only heard of this holiday last year ironically lol
