Hi guys, just wondering the differences between a train vs the same train but with "nd" at the end, when creating a custom train set, many thanks.

ND normally means no driver model is present, so an empty cab.

I put together a GWR HST train the other day (the one from DTG Bristol Cardiff) and I put the regular on the front and a no driver on the back, however when I put the lights on the headlights light both ends, or if I change the rear end from the rear cab to tail lights they then change to tail on the front, was just wondering if I was missing a step, sometimes the simplest things can completely elude me.

In theory the Tail Light on the Rear vehicle should come on when the Headlights are illuminated on the Front vehicle

Try the HST again and having put the front lights on use view 3 to look at the rear of the train and you should see Reds.
If you change cabs the system thinks you are driving that way and the Headlights are automatic

Sorry I should have mentioned I viewed the rear from outside view 3 and also free cam, I either get reds both ends or headlights both ends, also just remembered I had this issue with the ai (preset consist) GWR "The Welshman" reskin too, I assumed it was the skin at fault so uninstalled it.
