I love this route and could not wait until it was brought to the game, however, there are a few things that I saw that I wanted to point out.
    1. there is not enough representation of NJTransit services, there are constant trains coming in and out of New York during rush hour in the mornings and afternoons to evenings running all the way down to Trenton, and vice verse trains, coming in and out of Trenton, and running to New York. Express, semi-express and local trains
    2. The passenger lights on the NJTRANSIT trains are not on during the day, they should be on at all times not only at night
    3. The AI traffic should be a little more heavy during the rush hour times.
    4. There is a NJTRANSIT maintenance facility, right outside of Newark Penn, with no kind of New Jersey transit, AI traffic, or even things sitting in the yard.
    5. There should be some type of representation of CSX freight along the route, even if it’s just freight cars sitting on sidings
    6. When driving the metroliner cab car, the marker lights on the engine in the back should be on, but you can’t turn them on.
    7. The pantographs on the NJTRANSIT AI trains are not up when you see them going by

#6 is false, you can turn the marker lights on. No worries, I made a tutorial video.
Each one teach one. Your comment actually inspired me to make that video, so thank you.

In terms of the timetable, it's unlikely to change. Certain services and layers were left out due to lack of time, lack of trains, no appropriate train, etc. While it is not the best timetable, I think it would be difficult to do at the moment.

    Just lack of time

    Not lack of appropriate trains.

For todays standards what its expected in tsw (with increased prices!), this is the worst release since im backing this franchise and in current state simply not acceptable.

There is already a 30 page thread where people go into detail.

To bring it to a point, for me the absolutley worst part is, DTG knew exactly what lazy, sloppy "10 step backwards" LOVE they are gonna release, and yes they released it instead of making the effort this nice route deserves.

Cant immagine a better way to spit into a customers face, since dtg can deliver very well made dlcs if they want.

Or they are just terrible with US content dlcs involving New York Penn Station...They did it with the LIRR with goofy excuses, and now this one with ran out of time....This wouldn't happened with UK content..Thats when they deliver great contents "cough" London Commuter "cough" Southeastern High Speed with Ashford International

Im not gonna excuse DTG and pretend they have a "learning curve" to make, they knew exactly what they were gonna release with trenton, making clowns and idios out of people backing tsw for years, especially us fans.

The ts2020 version had csx freight. Also not including the lirr a.i and so on. If the new signalling takes so much of a systems performance, that they have to go back 5 years, release it for gen 8, and create the proper expereience for new gen consoles & pcs.

Or should everbody drive a bicycle because billy cant afford a car?
No DTG, thats not how progress is working....

This route needs to be busy and when I played Harlem Line Depot Moves are always stuck behind Express and local trains.

It should be busier, but if so, it would likely be between NWK and NYP.
The stretch between Trenton and Rahway for sure isn't incredibly jam packed. It's not the 1990s or early 2000s.

Also, the depot / deadhead / equipment moves in the Harlem Line DLC were asinine in my opinion because 99% of them put you DIRECTLY behind a local train INSTEAD of on an adjacent express track to overtake it. The express tracks were wide open but DTG would rather have you literally riding the bumper of a local train.

I asked a friend of mine who works for metro north. He says there are a — way too many deadheads and b-,they never get priority they don’t care how long it takes

so in this case real life mimics the game

I also showed the timetable for ny Trenton to another friend of mine who is an engineer for njt. He was like where’s this train ? Where’s that train?

Correct NWK RVL Joins NEC Montclair-Boonton Morris & Essex Lines join at the Kearny Connection that's where also NJCL Hoboken Trips leave NEC 11kv 16.7-60hz to Join M&E Line 25kv 60hz towards Hoboken.

I stand corrected. I apologize for calling DTG asinine for this. I now direct that term at the MTA.

Do you mean the one on the NJ Transit website for RVL M&E Montclair-Boonton NEC & NJCL Lines these have NY Penn trips? To make NEC like Harlem Line busy it should have been filled in manually. Joe Burgess did the Harlem Line Timetable and that's What NEC Trenton to NY Penn via Newark Penn & New Brunswick should have been. Even the LIRR Expanded with Grand Central if made will look like NEC Trenton to NY Penn

At peak there should be no more than two mins between departures / arrivals to ny Penn. off peak there should roughly 10-15 mins.

Between Rahway to Trenton off peak there should be several trains per hour. Even the real life weekend schedule has more trains.

Lol they deserve it. They’ll load the line into the city for the morning rush and deadhead half of them back up the line then deadhead them again before the evening rush. Far from efficient. Deadheads make no money so they follow on yellows all the way
