Philadelphia 30th Street Station is about 30 miles away from Trenton Transit Center. I feel as if the current NEC route was cut off short by not including the extra few stations to Philadelphia. This extension would bring along a new transit agency, SEPTA which would operate local regional rail service between Center City Philadelphia and Trenton Transit Center. The two main railcar types that SEPTA operates on this line are: Silverliner V Silverliner IV This extension would bring 11 new stations and many more services for players to operate, greatly improving the current route. This would also make Trenton Transit Center feel more alive and diverse with several different transit agency's and railcars. Having this as an expansion of the current route would be great! Feel free to ask if any additional information is needed!
I would like to see the route go to phili, I think it is the ECML York of the US routes kinda “issue” though NEC Trenton is no small timetable to have to redo and upgrade, especially joe the fish’s version.
The timetable doesn't really need redoing since NJT trains don't go past Trenton, it just needs SEPTA services which should have little, if any, effect on the current timetable. I do believe that the route could use a couple branch lines though: - 3-mile Princeton Dinky with Arrow III EMU and 1 extra stop (Princeton station) - 9-mile Airport Branch with 6 extra stops (Penn Medicine, Eastwick, PHL Terminal A, PHL Terminal B, PHL Terminals C&D, PHL Terminals E&F) - 5-mile Cynwyd Branch with 3 extra stops (Wynnefield Ave, Bala, Cynwyd) - 2-mile CCCC (like an S-Bahn tunnel) with 3 extra stops (Suburban Station, Jefferson Station, Temple University)
Not sure if it matters where they stop when doing an extension but regardless the timetable would need doing again for Amtrak services.
It's a great idea is just that Dovetail needs to obtain premission from SEPTA to use their trains and branding in a train simulator.
I'm not sure what goes into creating a service Fortunately, the vast majority of services do not need to be redone and the same paths and whatnot can be used.
Absolutely needed by the way they can simply reskin the following loco ACS-64 600-670 into SEPTA ACS-64 901-915. New build comet II-IV SEPTA they are going to need the following odd car restroom equipment if not taken out during the refurbishment 10 years ago. Eventually forming the New Jersey Transit version by re skinning the original
