Hello everyone GoldenTicket here proposing what i think would be a nice and new addition to Train Sim World 4.The route i chosen for this proposal took some time to carefully pick with few priority factors in mind,Variety in rolling stock,Scenery, and Mileage/Speed /# of Stations.Den Haag - Dordrecht is the name of the route.Such beautiful stations similarly to Germany. Front window view of Den Haag - Dordrecht with SMG : Front window Den Haag - Haarlem - Amsterdam with ICM intercity : Front window meester paul - delft - Leiden with Virm double decker Front window Hoorn kersenboogerd - Leiden with SNG 2021 Rolling stock : (Retired SGM) ,[SNG)Replaced the SGM 2021],NS Virm Double Decker,ICM Intercity The sgm which is a sprinter train runs rapid transit like or in the case of Rush Hour speed it's top stops at every stop similarly 2 something of a "Subway" but above ground. The sgm are older units which ran from the mid 1900 and retired just of 2021 and is now being replaced with the nicer newer model sng. I'm not a big fan of the ICM inner city look but it is quite unique and remind me of a dinosaur for some reason but really curious to know how to drive it i want to add its a highspeed double decker and sounds amazing when accelerateing.. The virm double decker in the iCM Inner City are both Express Services stopping at limited stops. There is also Freight along this route which looks to be a variant similar to Germany's 185. 2 what is someone who's familiar with this area please add more details for I'm super interested in this route .I think this would be a good ad being that it has a similar feel to Germany especially with some of the other locomotives around and near the route. I love watching the front view video of the route because you get to see cities Bridges Farms tunnels you name it the route has it it's pretty fascinating to drive high speed with double decker trains or even rustling and bustling with old school Sprinters and if old school doesn't get your fancy you can have it option to use the 2021 current and active sng operating on the route today. Special shoutout to Cabviewholland for inspiring me to make this post,be sure to check him out on YouTube.Cheers
Netherlands website plus one of my favorite stations along the line which I was not able to post in this suggestion proposal so I'm posting here. Unrelated but awesome video Netherlands steam action .
Definitely hope to see A Dutch Route In the near future For Train Sim World 3! A lot of rolling stocks are similar to Germany Style and Influence, Would be a nice little remix To add To the 3 country Only approach Perhaps?
Excellent idea and if I were you you can probably make another route for them the Dutch section of Hollandstrecke Duisburg Utrecht 156km by confining them to the 57 km section Arnhem Utrecht where these trains also run. On the Other hand Hollandstrecke Duisburg Utrecht can merge with HRR to become Hollandstrecke Duisburg/Bochum-Utrecht. Basically making it 200 km 125mi surpassing Kassel Würzburg by 9 mi 14 km. Your next suggestion can be International that is what the developers should have considered to introduce a new country into the game start from an existing country then bring it to a new country.
I agree with you however the developers might choose an international route that uses an existing station that's why they might end up doing it as Duisburg HRR Emmerich am Rhein Zevenaar Betuweroute junction Arnhem Utrecht 156km. Since they just need to do the scratch section Oberhausen Hbf Emmerich am Rhein Zevenaar Arnhem Utrecht the section south of Oberhausen Hbf will simply be reusing Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr portal tracks Duisburg Hbf & Mülheim an der Ruhr Styrum triangle junction.
Excellent suggestion!!! They'd better look abroad like the Netherlands, am of opinion that these four generations can come to TSW 3 or better that ChrisTrains the creator of it in Train Simulator classic gets access to the third party develop program of DTG. Personally, I like these trains the most especially the locomotive, really because of the looks and a completely different way of driving; experiences from TS classic Wikipedia: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/1700_(elektrische_locomotief) YouTube: DD-AR LOK 1700
They have so much variety they can choose from, which would be great for a new route and train Sim world three. I want to quickly say much love and support for the many people experiencing the terrifying derailment today in the Netherlands
I’d definitely get a Dutch route! Never been there but it looks cool. It would also be nice to see a future route with the ICM or VIRM.
Especially the ICM is iconic. (Although there's more iconic trains, especially if we go back in history a bit)
You are correct because the ICM nose is a coupler/connector. Remember to open them if combining two trains
Unfortunately, after modernization, the nose is no longer functional as a connector. I believe the reason was the connector was unrealiable and often resulted in faults (and thus delays). The modernized ICMm has the doors replaced by a panel.
Thanks for telling me about that. For DTG they might as well make two versions one ICM and the other an Older Version where the nose is the connector between the two trains. DLC ICNG if applicable
Have you already liked my suggestion for the NS ICM? https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/nederlandse-spoorwegen-intercitymaterieel-ns-icm.29449/
We have been talking about Dutch routes for years now unfortunately. Matt once said on a stream some time ago it is to much work to dive into a new country, make the devs learn all about it, make new assets etc. Just for 1 route. So 3th party could do it. Or DTG can do it but they need to make more Dutch routes afterwards to justify all the work. And it has to be included in the cycle. US GER UK.. NL. I know we have the SNCF TGV route. But its Highspeed and uses the same tvm system like on SEHS. And the scenery is kinda bland. so maybe it was easier to make. But, im all in!! Good suggestion!
That doesn’t explain the lack of Northern Irish routes though — apart from the wider gauge, the country uses the same safety systems and has similar scenery; the railways are also nationalised, and governments don’t tend to be to touchy about licensing, with Translink even having allowed their trains in simulators before (MSTS Irish Enterprise North). Maybe they don’t think there’s enough interest, but the amount of suggestions would certainly state otherwise…
I just tell what matt said on that stream where he talked about many request for Dutch routes. Irish routes i dont know.
