I would like to suggest a Loco/train DLC to model the fleet of Network Rail test trains. The test train fleet is both ubiquitous on the UK scene, but often overlooked. When it is modelled both virtually and in miniture, its often done poorly and inaccurately (looking at you, Bachmann), but within TSW we already have the bulk of vehicles in game, just requiring some modification to bring them up to spec.

    Where could they be layered?
    Literally every UK route

    What could it include?
    > Mk1 coaches as generator vans (modified BGs)
    > Mk2b/c as Radio survey coach/support
    > Mk2d/e/f as any PLPR vehicle, and any of a plethora of other testing/support vehicles.
    > UTU coaches - trains with these in the formation complete recording at 30mph and these vehicles are typically adapted 4CIG motor coaches (so would require custom modelling from the ground up).
    > Mk3 New Measurement Train vehicles
    > Class 153 VIU

    What could haul them?
    > MTU HST
    > Class 37 top n tail (due to the vast variation in locos used, a licence wouldn't necessarily be required as literally everything from BR Green through the lastest ROG liveries have at some point been on these trains).

I believe this could make for an interesting gameplay pack and one that could be layered into a great many routes. The nature of the job these trains do and the unique operational practices employed makes the infrastructure monitoring fleet not just a quirky novelty, but also something that could be very engaging for players to drive.

I completely agree, that would provide scenarios and layers for every routes.
    Truly a must-have !

Honestly yes. We already have a HST, Class 37 and 153, as well as Mk 1 and 2 coaches so it's not as if it all needs to modelled entirely from scratch.

I know there's the recreation of Class 37 Ultrasonic Test Train services in the Riviera timetable using the West Cornwall Local 37 and the Mk 2 coaches from the 86 pack, but the fact they are still in Railfreight and Intercity liveries just makes it feel like a railtour service
