Here's a new 1940's-1950's classic for the NH Springfield Line yet to be remade for TSW 5. The route is over 62 miles. It would be set in the 1940's-1950's. The New Haven rolling stock would include GE 44 Ton's, H16-44's, FM C-Liner's, SW1200's, GP9's, F-Unit's, Baldwin RP-210's, Alco RS-11's, S-1's, Alco PA's, Alco RS2's, Alco RS3's, HH600's, DL109's, Alco RS1's, S-2's, Alco FA's, FL9's, Brill Doodlebug's, Budd RDC-1's, Budd RDC-2's, Budd RDC-3's, LS-1200's, EF-1's, EF-3's, and EP-5 "Jet"'s with the same freight and passenger equipment like TSC has. This route would be awesome with their massive FM C-Liners and the EP-5 "Jet" among others.
If we were to get this route in the historical era, it would most likely end up resembling the TSC rendition. The electric motors wouldn't really be necessary as they'd be AI traffic only around New Haven Union Station and Cedar Hill. Realistically you'd most likely end up with a GP9 (the RS11's ended up being relegated to freight only service later in life due to leakage issues), a 44-Tonner or S1, and either an FL9 or FA for a cab-unit. The FA and GP9 could both come with NYC skins to represent the B&A traffic on the north end of the line and add a little more variety for peoples' dollar. A Budd car in the RDC 1 and 2 variations would make a good post release DLC. For a historical route, I'd prefer to see the electrified mainline from New Haven to Grand Central (and ideally the Hell Gate Route for passenger trains to Penn and freights to Fresh Pond, but I highly doubt that would ever be a thing). An EP5 for express passenger services, a GP9 for local freights and switching, and a Washboard EMU for locals. Later on you could get an FL9 DLC, and possibly an EF4 for the Cedar Hill to Fresh Pond route, if modeled. I also wouldn't say no to a U25B for freight under the wire. The hard part with any of this, and a lot of the units you listed is getting access to running prototypes for accurate sounds, physics, and detailing research. Almost all of the electrics were scrapped, none are running. Many of the ALCo units are pretty hard to find in operating condition, if they even survived at all, and the FM and Baldwin units would need a railroad-themed Jurassic Park invented to faithfully recreate. DTG might be able to use old recordings scrubbed up by AI for some of the extinct equipment, but that would be a pretty difficult process that I doubt would provide them a good return on investment. Danbury has a couple Washboards on static display and Virginia has an EF4 that was sitting on a siding north of Old Saybrook on the Valley Railroad for decades. Danbury has an operating RDC, and the Naugatuck Railroad has a beautifully restored FL9, both with authentic Hancock chimes. GP9's are a dime a dozen here in the states (or anything with a 567 prime mover, for that matter). There are some FA's still out there, especially thanks to MLW and the FPA being such a good runner in Canada before trickling down across the border into various preservation outfits. There is exactly one PA in the US that's actually being restored to operating condition. This isn't all to say that I wouldn't love to see New Haven content in TSW, but it would be a tough sell to either DTG or any of the third parties. If we were to see it, it would most likely be the current iteration operated by CT Rail and Amtrak, with CSOR running freights.
