I really like this train and the route but..... I find that when using ATC/ACSES the changes in speed limits come without warning (in some cases they come in places you wouldn't expect) and there is not a whole lot of time to react before the penalty braking kicks in. I'd be cruising along following what my HUD is telling me and out of nowhere ATC activates a speed reduction and the penalty break kicks while I'm applying the brakes (like before my brake application takes affect). Is that just me or am I doing something wrong?
Yes, it happens with the ACS64 also. Speed changes happen very suddenly sometimes, but, so far, I've managed to recover before the penalty brake stops me. Makes using the cruise control a bit nerve racking though.
