With the release of the new UP Heritage Fleet SD70ACes and the BNSF SD70ACe, I'm wondering which engines will be included in the next loco pack. Here are some that I want. -BNSF: -B40-8W -C44-9W/AC44C4M -ET44C4 -GP60/GP60M(-3)/GP60B -SD70MAC(e) -GP38-2 -AC4400CW -3GS-21B/3GS21C Genset Switcher -UP: -GP60/GP62 -C45AH (ET44AC) -C45ACCTE (ES44AC) -SD70AH-T4 -SD70M -GP40-2 -AC6000CW/AC4460CW/C44ACM -SD90MAC-H/SD90-43MAC -3GS-21B Genset Switcher -CSX: -AC6000CW -ET44AH -SD70MAC/SD70AC -ST70AH (SD70ACe-T4) -SD40-3 -GP40-2/-3 -GP38-3 -Genset Switcher -NS: -SD70ACU -AC44C6M -C40-9/C40-9W -SD70ACC -SD40-2 Admiral Cab or High Nose -ET44AC -GP60 -GP59/GP59ECO/GP33ECO -SD60E -SD70ACe/IAC -SD40E -CN: -ET44AC -SD70I -SD75I/SD75ACC -SD70M-2 -C44-9W -ES44DC -SD40-2/SD40-2W -GP40-2W -GP38-2W -C40-8/C40-8M
Dang! I can't believe I forgot to mention Amtrak! Of course, we'd need a few routes for some of these suggestions. Here are my ideas for more Amtrak content. -Amtrak diesel locos: -EMD F40PH: Several liveries of this classic 1970s-80s-era Amtrak diesel are necessary including Phases 2, 3, 4, 5, and commuter agencies (Coaster, Metra, etc. if we get those routes) -GE P32-8BWH: In both Phase 3 ("Pepsi Can") livery and Phase 5; the P32-8BWH would be perfect on a Pacific Surfliner or long distance Amtrak route -GE Genesis P40DC (AMD-103) and/or P42DC: All liveries and the heritage units are a must. Routes would be the same as the P32-8BWH. -P32AC-DM: The dual-mode Genesis diesel is necessary for a New York route where diesel engines are not allowed to run. -Siemens Chargers: I really want these with different routes. My suggestions would be Pacific Surfliner, ACE, Caltrain, Midwest routes, Brightline, and either Stevens Pass or Marias Pass with an ALC-42 Charger and Empire Builder long-distance passenger consist. The new ALC-42Es (when they arrive in real life), could be added to NEC. -NPCUs: Amtrak rebuilt some of their old F40PHs into Non-Powered Control Units (basically cab cars with baggage doors; hence the nickname "Cabbages," which is a combination of cab and baggage). -Amtrak electric locos: -GG1: Need I say more? Of course, we should get these in PRR, Penn Central, and Conrail liveries, too. -AEM-7: These are needed for an NEC loco DLC pack. -HHP-8: These engines could come with the AEM-7 in an NEC loco DLC pack. -Avelia Liberty consist: The replacement for the Acela Express is a must once the real trains begin operation soon. -Switchers for Amtrak: Amtrak does roster some EMD, Motive Power, and NRE switchers. These could be added as DLCs for loco and rolling stock switching at repair shops on the routes.
