Currently in train simulator we don’t have much verity in the NPC’c and they are quite basic. My suggestion is to make the NPC’s more dynamic and represent us more. Some can have guide dogs to represent the visually impaired, walking sticks, zimmer frames, wheelchairs, prams, children, hearing aids as well as religious clothing such as headscalfes and such as well as couples holding hands of various different orientations. I think it’s important you represent everyone as this game relies on people (passengers) to make the game work and it would be nice for us to see us being represented on your games.
You can't represent everyone. That's about 8 billion passengers that need to be added. It would bring down performance. But seriously adding a lot of variation would indeed bring performance down. I could be wrong. Not an expert here.
Too many different NPCs will not work, and the game will come to a halt... Something like this was tried with Fallout 3 & 4, just simply having too many NPCs in a single cell was bringing down the performance and in many cases crashing the game, and that was with many similar NPCs. As it is in TSW4, if you look closely at the NPCs now they have been made more low Polly than they were in TSW3, actually, the NPCs in TSW4 look like they don't have a full mesh, they are made more just the texture and a simple mesh. This is just a Guess...
