I will await reports on its use in the game as it is only a Beta at the moment. Peter Hayes might know more?
I'll probably give it a miss until I've no other option, I only use Nvidia GeForce Experience to update drivers, I hardly ever use ShadowPlay (unless I'm recording a bug or something like), I don't have an RTX card so the a.i./RTX stuff is of no use to me either.
It gives a game that I play in HDR too much contrast and I cannot do much about it except adjust the contrast on my monitor which would make everything else look too dark so I removed it and have gone back to the older Nvidia Control Panel. Mind you the new one is a beta one.

I'll avoid this app until they completely eliminate the conventional control panel, which, despite what Nvidia says, I hope never happens. I once tried Experience but quickly deleted it since I need none of its bells and whistles. In any case, prefer to update drivers manually when and as needed.
So only thing wrong is that "you don't need it" ? You are right, never install something you do not need.
There is another minor update 11.0.1.163 Did not notice anything exciting in the release update for this version.
