Hi I would love to play an Avanti West Coast Main line route with avanti pendalino 390 trains and Voyager 220 diesel engines too, maybe Glasgow/Edinburgh to Carlisle or Birmingham New Street to London Euston.
Birmingham to London or Glasgow to Carlisle probably too long. The 220 also won't appear as Arriva don't seem to be keen on giving the license. We do need a WCML route though.
BNS to Euston would be one of the best case scenarios for the WCML, which is inevitably coming to TSW, at some point. The Trent Valley section from Rugby to Stafford would also fit the bill nicely - but you would need the LNWR 350 to make that route operable. The BNS to Euston section would probably best suit the 390, but 350’s will be much requested and sorely missed if lacking. Both ends of the latter would be significantly more bustling than previous incarnations of ‘big stations’ as you’d have the Aventra Overground stuff, Bakerloo Line trains, WMR local services and all the usual 66 intermodal freight stuff.
I think it would be an awesome addition to have a section of WCML in trainsim world, only in my opinion before even thinking about it, it would require all the relevant rolling stock and licenses, and from the off a mega super timetable,as in real life it's a very busy route ,theres alot of passenger and freight movements on any typical day ,so from me would need to forfil these needs
Euston-New Street would be fantastic to have in TSW but failing that even just e.g. Euston-MKC would give a lot of gameplay opportunities. A lot of necessary stock is already ingame so really only the 390 and 350 would be needed, and DTG presumably have all necessary references for them as they've already been produced for TSC. What's more, they already have the Avanti licencing requirements (oh and while we're talking about pendolinos they would give Glasgow Central slightly more colour variety)
