Whose idea was it to take the already poorly organised but at least convenient to navigate list, and replace it with gigantic clunky panels? I can't see more than 5 routes on the screen at once now, and the text is so spaced out and hard to follow when seeing how many taps of the d-pad it takes to navigate to what I am looking for. same goes for the filtering system, it's like it's designed for Kinect. Can we at least get an option to sort vertically and just have the names, so it's easy to just scroll through them and read the text?

Also adding additional clicks to get to the settings menu is an absolute UX no-no. especially adding a hold interaction to do so. Wow. Just wow.

Information in a UI should be simple but not overly so, condensed, and with minimal wasted space and spacing between stuff which reduces efficiency of accessing it. Essentially the opposite of this kind of early 2010s touch and gesture-based interface design.

Not to be entirely negative, the Series X overhaul is otherwise spot-on. Loving having real draw distance on Cane Creek. It's just the UI feels in places like it was designed by whoever wrote the new GNOME HIG :P

I'd also suggest, as an aside, moving the month and weather conditions selectors to beneath the detailed sliders on the timetable page. It's not immediately intuitive that it takes five taps to get up to those options, and there's no indicator of which slider you currently have selected. Essentially adding seven more clicks to get to just choosing a kind of weather for a run. Those kinds of fine detail selectors should be the deepest level of the UI, not the top level you need to navigate through. And potentially having the selected slider light up in a different colour to the same black as the rest of them, to know which one you are moving at a glance.

Also THANK YOU for finally making the Motion Blur Off setting remain selected between changing routes. This in part makes up for the menu being harder to navigate to, as it was why I needed to open it every single time I went to do a service on a different one.
