A Würzburg – Nürnberg route (especially the classic mainline, not only the high-speed line) would be a perfect fit. This would allow: Regional Express services with the BR 440 Freight traffic for variety Potential ICE layers on the parallel high-speed section A mix of fast and stopping services for gameplay variety One strong argument for adding the BR 440 is that it already exists in Train Simulator Classic. Since the model has been developed before, it could potentially be adapted and improved for Train Sim World. This might reduce development effort compared to creating a completely new train from scratch, while still delivering a highly requested and realistic vehicle. The BR 440 would add more diversity to the current German EMU selection and represent another important part of modern DB regional traffic.
