A suggestion for a new route should just Devon routes, from Exeter st David’s being given freedom of choice to go from Exeter st David’s to paignton, exmouth, Plymouth and routes along to Barnstaple and okehampton, with a possible extension to the Dartmouth steam railway from paignton to kingswear with trains featuring GWR’s 158/7s and 158/9s, with possibly class 800s and 802s and the ability to use the class 166 and class 43 from the great western express route.
