As of now the suspension makes wheels bouncing in axles instead of squeezing boogie springs, it looks odd. I wonder if it's limitation of tsw engine or just ignorance of devs?
Probably because the bogies are a solid model. Would need splitting the bogie model into parts and animations. As it stands, it causes a lot of problems anyway with cab rumbling on various locos now, and can only be reduced by either reducing / turning off Motion Sway or modify the L/KSitting.Z value using GodMode.
Yeah, when the new suspension physics got announced and hyped up, I was kind if expecting something similar to what Diesel Railcar Simulator has did 6 years ago. I assume it should still be possible to do in TSW if they bother to split the bogey model into separate objects and properly tie them together with the physics simulation. Will that be done? Probably not, because this is TSW we are talking about, lol. Anyway, what they currently have started is still better than nothing. But it would be about time other rolling stock starts getting the new physics model as well. I assume it is safe to bet that the Allegra won't have the new physics either, nor will the upcoming german and US routes.
IMHO, TSW had enough previously developed tech that is many times not properly applied in each DLC. We did not need more tech that takes lots of time to properly use in each DLC, like the new suspension system, because we all know in many DLC releases the devs will not have the required time to implement it right.
