Hi all, I live in Dortmund and work there as a trainee train driver for DB Fernverkehr AG and I've been working on a new timetable for RRO since the editor was released (as some may have seen in Matt's tutorial on "Diagnosing Timetable Problems" (yes that's my project )). With some ups and downs and some problems. I have taken all the information from the real timetables. I'm currently having problems with journeys that run past 0 o'clock in relation to the passenger information system, as these trains are shown as delayed. I also need to figure out how to set the FIS on the trains that have predefined termini. Currently, all long-distance and regional traffic between Wuppertal and Hagen is included in the timetable (RE4, RE7, RE13, RB48 (incomplete)) on the subject of S-Bahn, the S8 line is available, but only the hourly long-distance to Hagen. I will add the trains to Oberbarmen. The aim is to simulate a complete day on this line. This includes the S9 and other AI lines such as the S5 in Hagen Hbf. In addition, I am still undecided about the freight traffic. If anyone has any suggestions or assistance. Please feel free to contact me. Here are a few screenshots: Note: I will revise the whole thing with regard to the formations and layers.
I have noticed situations with PIS boards showing unreal delays but thats probably due to the cut from one day to the next one, idk about it but maybe exclude services that go over zero AM to prevent these issues. someone else might be a better help though
They dort work at the first Station you spawn in. If you sit on a train and drive to the next station they should work. Maybe they Arena updaten online then
Strange, I'll have to check because I don't think they worked at the next station either. I'll check later and feedback here
I got this to work by doing this. I'll be interested to see what happens in game once the editor can cook properly
At the moment I can not work on the timetable because the files does not get fund by unreal. And also I need to learn a lot at the moment
You don't. You either make a looping timetable, where by the end of the timetable every formation is back where it started in an identical state and can therefore start the whole timetable again from the beginning, or you make a >24 hr timetable that goes into the next day a little bit to cover the services that cross over into the new day. Looping a timetable that's any other length than 24 hours doesn't make a lot of sense as it would jump from, say, 26:29:59 (02:29:59 AM day 2) back to 00:00 at the end of the loop. I think that a timetable that goes into day 2 probably makes more sense for your use case than a loop does.
Did you ever encounter a problem at Hagen Wehringhausen platform? When making my own timetable I had the new journeys 423 running westbound services and could not move again after load unload at that first platform. I removed all other trains and still got stuck, I chose many combinations of with or without the load instruction, different stop marker positions with forced or not forced, overlapping or within. Only thing that made the train move was to make the stop a go via and it went straight through. Ended up changing the formation to a 422 and no problem. The stop and loading works with the 422 and other services active.
I've had the same issue on my MSB timetable. Using a different platform (if possible) or train is the only solution I found that reliably fixes it.
At the moment its paused. Because on this route their are problems which I can not fix at the moment. Also I'm wating for DTG to release the editor update
Hello, as announced, this project is not dead and I'm finally back. After the release of the new editor I started to work on the timetable again. However, I have decided to start again. I have a few questions for you on this point. What about the RE13 and RE16 and RB91 should I use the Luzern-Sursee Flirt there and if so does someone have the possibility to provide the repaint and formations or should I run Dostos or something similar there?
Here are some Pictures of the AI Traffic at Hagen Hbf Left: RE16 Essen Hbf Right: S5 Dortmund Hbf Here you can see the RE16, RE17, RB52 and RB40
