WSR was the 4th route for TSW and doesn't now meet the new standards of TSW2 and needs a refresh, and as the preservation crew are due to look at this route it would be a good time to make the timetable more interesting and engaging, At the start of the day the locos could start in the loco sheds Williton Engine sheds and be driven light loco to the carriage sidings and couple to their coaches before driving to Minehead and Bishops Lydeard for the first service of the day. At the end of the day the coaches could then be dropped of and the locos taken to Williton for refuelling before being parked up for the night. Using the freight waggons from NTP freight pack the class 09 could do a shunting and freight demonstration and the class 101 could be added to the timetable for its own layer
Would be awesome. This route is shouting for some more timetables: - A Diesel festival day - A maintenance day, with a small amount of trains and the others in the yards - A steam festival, once we have some steam engines
Timetable Layer GWR portal service to Bishop Lyeard and return (runs 4 to 8 per day) Class 166 from GWE Layered into old timetable and future new timetables Timetables Ideas DMU only Timetable with Class 101 NTP TVL DLGW versions. Freight only Timetable NTP freight pack
How about HST from GWE being here? At least Natalie in this forums known as DTG Naster has modern train to play on West Somerset Railway. However it was retired five days ago.
The only issue I can see is that complex activities on this route tend to fall apart particularly when the signalling throws a wobbly. Would be nice to see a timetable with the Class 31 and Class 37 hauling Mark One stock, too.
And a double head with the Class 08, with some freight and coal wagons from Tees Valley as well. And brakevans as well.
