Both trains would be better featured in their own routes then layered back onto E-G. E.g. the Class 380 with a route like the Inverclyde lines and the Class 170 on the Fife Circle. That way we get more prototypical services for these trains with bonus layering opportunities for other routes for more gameplay variety.
Neither train run on Edinburgh to QS route, these days. 170s used to run pre electrification but not when the route is set. Possibly might have the odd 380 on the Stirling route but few and far between and I’ve never seen them, as above, both would be more at home on their own routes, although I would absolutely support both trains in the game.
Agree with the above, either train doesn't fit the era this route is in (today) as 380s ran until 2018-2019 and 170s until 2017 so wouldn't be much point in them on EDN
Every time I think of the 170. Fife Circle pops in my mind. I would love to see the 380 also. Love the sound of the traction motors. One of the reasons I’m looking forward to the class 700 that’s coming soon.
