Hey Simmers, We at Infinite Railtech are excited to share that our first simulation controller is now in its final testing phase and will be offered for sale soon. This device has been designed from the pixel up to bring higher operational fidelity, realistic control handling, and real-world operating practices into Train Sim World, with a strong focus on accurate equipment-handling procedures. Using an accurate, purpose-built controller changes gameplay completely. It shifts the experience from simply operating inputs to actually running the train, reinforcing correct habits, timing, and situational awareness in a way that keyboards and generic peripherals cannot. Trust us—you truly have not experienced the game until you can control your train without constantly referencing a keyboard. Looking ahead, we hope to cooperate closely with developers like Dovetail to help build the full potential of Train Sim World from the hardware side of simming—into a true digital wonder, in the same spirit that Flight Simulator achieved through deep system access and third-party innovation. We have the experience, reference material, and engineering tools to design truly remarkable simulation hardware, and we are eager to continue doing so. Train Sim World already has an incredible foundation. The graphics are stunning, the game loads quickly, and the variety of rolling stock continues to improve with every release. To unlock the next level of realism, however, fully reliable and complete API functionality is essential. Advanced hardware depends on consistent access to core systems in order to deliver authentic interactions and a professional-grade simulation experience. There is real excitement about the future of Train Sim World, and a strong willingness from the hardware development side to invest deeply in expanding the ecosystem—provided the technical pathways are there to support it.
