I think a great update would be to add the following for TSW4: Locomotives: Amtrak P42s, Amtrak ALC-42s (As an addon), Caltrans/Amtrak SC-44s and (F59PHIs as addon) (Capitol Corridor and Pacific Surfliner schemes) as well as Metra MP36cs, F59PHIs, F40PHs, F40PHC, and SD70MACH. (Cool to add Via Rail P42s, SVC-42s and F40PHs) On Metrolink F125 Locomotives, particularly units 926 and 929, it would be cool to include a unique Canadian-tuned K3L horn as a backup for only those two locomotive numbers in the game! Rolling Stock: Amtrak Superliner cars (Coach, Sleeper, Dinner, Observation), Caltrans/Amtrak California Cars (Coach and Cab Cars {For cab cars include individual horns for each and also use EMD Bells on Surfliner Cabs, Graham White E-Bells on Capitol Corridor Cabs}), Amtrak Baggage Car, and Cabagge F40PH NPCUs for Caltrans, adding Metra Bi-level cars (with K5LA or K3LA horns). Routes: Adding Pacific Surfliner Route (San Luis Obispo to San Diego), Adding Capitol Corridor Route (Sacramento to San Jose {or including Auburn and Roseville}), Metra Route 59 (Chicago to Aurora). Would be hard to add the Coast Starlight Route (Either from Seattle to Los Angeles or from Sacramento to Los Angeles).
would love to see more Amtrak rolling stock for sure. Especially the P40DC/P42DC or the G.E. GG1 - This is my opinion, don't take it personally... The game needs more European style routes, for example: Spain, Portugal, Greece, Serbia, and Prague. Picture is just for attention (OSE Class 460 - Siemens Desiro Classic EMU-5)
I agree that adding more diverse European routes would be cool too! Overall I think there should be more worldwide routes in general. Seeing a Japan Route would be awesome!
According to DTG, a Japanese route is in the works. But yeah Diverse European* routes would be great.... * nod* Their souls may rest in peace to the people of the train InterCity62 at 28 February 2023 Tempe valley,Greece.
The Pacific Surfliner is a must for me, especially with the Siemens Chargers. The route should be LA-San Diego. Also, the Surfliner route should include a Coaster Charger, BNSF ET44C4 or C44-9W, and either a GP60 or GP60M-3 (preferably both GP60 versions). The Metra/BNSF Racetrack is a cool idea, too. The BNSF locos would be the same ones I suggested for the Surfliner Route. A BNSF/Sounder Commuter/Amtrak Cascades Seattle Area Route is also a great idea. The route would include a Cascades Charger, Sounder MP40PH-3C, and one or two of the following: BNSF GP39-3, ET44C4, C44-9W, SD60M-3, SD75M/I, GP50, GP60, GP60M-3, or B40-8W. The Sounder and Cascades Cab Cars are both needed for the passenger trains.
