Just got TSW2 on a PS4. Newb!! I was running the tutorials and got to GP38-2 intro. Sat down
and it wants the Headlight set to Bright. Ok, I use the right joystick to move so I am
looking at the Bright switch and I can't get a darn thing to happen :-( I see the circle with
a hand holding what looks like a throttle and avobe that ! yd. I tried this on a PC
version and just needed to click the mouse, but on the PS4 with its controller I can not
get anything to happen except things like, cameras, inside/utside, stand up, etc. Do I
need to do something to change modes on the controller?? Am I missing some button
on the controler?? Any help greatly appreciated..... again, new guy so Thanks

There should be a small dot in the center of screen which is the cursor on console. When just hover it over controls to use them. The size of the cursor can be changed in settings.
    Hope this helps.

PS4 Newbie here as well. I had a lot of troubles on that route (mainly brake releases) but this one works just fine. It´s only a wild guess, but I suspect you are NOT seated in the driver seat to push that switch. Standing up allows you to hover and highlight levers, buttons, switches etc but not manipulating them. Give it a try.

That sounds very plausible, good reply.

I t doesn't matter whether you're seated or not you should be able to interact with all the controls at any point. But when you're standing up you wouldn't be able to use the triggers to control the throttle and brake but you could click and drag them.

First - THANKS to all who replied. I bumped into the stupidly simple solution by accident. The small dot which tells
you which control you are able to use is very small and DARK. I finally noticed it and all is well - almost. I am
a bit surprised the dot is not larger or a color other than grey (no circle around it). BUT, I am okay now except that running
the switching tutorial had some bugs which I have found references to on this forum. The first was
that i reached a point about 30 minutes in where a set of cars was blocking the tracks. THe first time I
hit them and the engine plowed through them with excellent graphics of me slicing various cars
open!! It almost made it through all of the cars but stopped two short. I took an evasive route the next
time and had success. I see not that you have to get to that point on time to avoid this. So, now I
am past the cars blocking the track and move a few steps in the tutorial and then out of the blue
there are two engines sitting in front of me!! WHAT?? I tried pushing and pulling them and finally got them to move after several
attempts. On one try I lost power on the reverse throttle but had full power on the forward. Never
figured this out!! The second time I was albe to push the engines and experienced wheel slip for the
first time!! So, a few glitches!!

Still a fun simulation!! I plan to beat this thing somehow!! THanks again to all!!
